A diverse, new garden, complements an imposing, modern residence in South West London. Juxtaposing ‘L’ shapes defined with slate, basalt and architectural stone divide the garden into ‘open plan’ rooms and provide dynamism, as one area of the garden slides crisply into the next. Clipped box and yew, tie house and garden and pleached hornbeams wrap the corners of the main lawn. Ornamental trees, grasses and seasonal planting in claret, dusky pinks, purples and whites pack the beds and shimmer with constant movement.
